Responsibilities & Opportunities

We are seeking a Production Manager to lead the efficient, safe, and environmentally responsible operation and growth of our new manufacturing facility in Upper Deerfield, New Jersey. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing programs that drive productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.  The Production Supervisor will cultivate a culture of trust, accountability, and continuous improvement, helping the plant achieve its Vision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Team Development: Coach, mentor, motivate, and develop your team to achieve excellence in all aspects of plant operations.
  • Collaboration: Work with the Materials and Quality teams to meet delivery and quality requirements consistently.
  • Standardization and Training: Assist in the identification and development of standardized procedures and training materials to improve efficiency and safety.
  • Shift Coordination: Conduct shift meetings to facilitate smooth shift-to-shift communication and ensure operational continuity.
  • Manufacturing Operations: Effectively manage floor activities, including:
    • Accurate reporting of production, scrap, and labor.
    • Timely startup and shutdown of shifts.
    • Training, development, and motivation of your team.

Preferred Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Manufacturing, or related field preferred.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment with leadership responsibilities, preferably in extrusion manufacturing and unionized settings.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. SAP experience is a plus.
  • Attributes: Dependable, highly organized, and detail-oriented problem solver.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with all levels of management and staff.
